For nearly six years, Matt has been applying creative and strategic communications to help tell thought-provoking stories in the energy industry. Having started with Soteryx as a research specialist back in 2011, he has rapidly risen through the ranks and now leads numerous high-profile accounts. He has led social media campaigns for some of Fortune’s top-rated companies and has provided strategic consult for clients surrounding major initiatives like the Olympic Games. Prior to Soteryx, Matt had a very diverse employment background—from cleaning sewers and replacing water mains to selling metal roofing and interning with semipro hockey and arena football franchises (the Albany Devils and, now defunct, Albany Conquest). Matt has a B.A. in Public Relations from Utica College (of Syracuse University) with a concentration in sports communications.
