Soteryx Corp began as an idea in the late 1990s when two friends met while serving in the Clandestine Service for the Central Intelligence Agency. Shaun Wiggins and George Dew became friends during their training and remained the very best of friends upon deployment and thereafter. The two discussed plans to work together in their own venture for many years, but life got in the way. It was in 2016 when Shaun and George finally decided to step away from the distractions that kept them from precipitating their plans and moved forward to create Soteryx Corp through the acquisition of a small firm.
The name Soteryx is derived from Soter—the Greek god of safety, preservation and deliverance from harm—and underpins our core mission of working with businesses to help ensure safe and successful operations.
